Single-person households in Germany, 2013

GfK's Map of the Month map illustrates Germany's share of single-person households at the district level.

The share of single-person households in Germany is 40 percent according to the current GfK study. Regensburg urban district significantly outpaces Germany's other districts with a 55.7 percent share of single-person households. This equates to 1.4 times the national average. Second place goes to the urban district of Berlin with 54.3 percent.
