The CRESTA map reveals worldwide zones of elevated natural disaster risks as determined by CRESTA (Catastrophe Risk Evaluating and Standardizing Target Accumulations).
In collaboration with the reinsurance companies Münchener Rück and Swiss Re, GfK GeoMarketing offers a map illustrating the worldwide CRESTA zones.
The CRESTA map contains the official zone and sub-zone identifiers for every continent. All zones and sub-zones are labelled with their official numerical codes.
The map is based on geographic coordinates (WGS 84). All map layers provide comprehensive coverage and fit together seamlessly.
Now available: New 2009 maps!
The 2009 maps include significantly more detail, with coverage of more than 21,600 zones (compared to only 5,316 in the 2006 CRESTA map).
