Software Development plans and implements the company's software-related projects, particularly the geomarketing software applications RegioGraph and DISTRICT. Key duties include the conception of new application features in collaboration with the other divisions as well as the implementation of these features using C# (and, in some rare cases, C++) within the Microsoft .NET platform.
Ideal candidates will have an educational background in computer science or a related field. Candidates should be able to analyze complex relationships between data and work toward solutions independently and as part of a team. Desirable abilities include specific knowledge of geoinformatics, computer geometry and algorithms as well as the ability to create user-friendly interfaces for complex processes.
