Sales

Sales is responsible for selling GfK GeoMarketing's products and delivering company and product presentations to customers (at their place of business and in-house) and at trade fairs and other events.

Sales staff regularly advise decision-makers from all branches of trade on the geomarketing solutions that would best suit their purposes. Also central to their duties is the regular maintaining of relations with business contacts as well as the acquisition of new clients from nationally and internationally active retailers and other commercial enterprises.

Ideal candidates will have an educational background in a business or geography-related field. Prospective candidates should have the ability to engage in and develop long-term business relationships with clients. As such, candidates should have a personable disposition and the ability to converse with clients in a spirited manner throughout the working day. Also prized is the ability and willingness to work as part of a team, exhibit a high degree of socialability and convey an entrepreneurial and results-oriented disposition.
